Free Text Messages on Pregnancy, Early Motherhood Guidance
St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center has partnered with Text4Baby to provide information to expectant and current mothers. You can sign up to receive more than 250 free text messages on numerous topics of interest to expectant and new mothers. Women who text BABY (or BEBE for Spanish texts) to 511411 receive free text messages three times per week through pregnancy and up until the baby's first birthday.
Text4baby topics include:
- Signs and symptoms of labor
- Nutrition for moms and babies
- Safe sleep tips
- Baby's milestones
- Doctor visit and appointment reminders
- Breastfeeding advice
- Car seat safety
- Urgent health alerts
- Resource hotlines and websites.
Text4baby is a free service provided in partnership by the nonprofit organization, ZERO TO THREE, and Voxiva, Inc.
